Vitamin C
Tetrahexyldecyl ascorbate (THD) is a highly stable form of vitamin C that is known to preserve skin collagen and neutralize free radicals that may damage our skin's lipids. Vitamin C is also beneficial for improving our skin's tone, brightness, and elasticity.

THD can also boost collagen production, which is essential for maintaining the skin's firmness and elasticity. Collagen is a protein that naturally occurs in the body and provides structure to the skin, but its production decreases with age. By increasing collagen production, THD can help reduce the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles, keeping the skin looking youthful.

Apart from its antioxidant properties, THD also possesses anti-inflammatory properties, which can help soothe irritated skin and reduce redness, making it an ideal ingredient for those with sensitive skin or skin that is prone to breakouts.


Sake Extract
Sake, a popular Japanese beverage, is not only consumed for its taste but also used for its beauty benefits. Sake makers are known for having soft hands, while Japanese geishas are known for their soft, flawless skin, both attributed to the use of sake.

For centuries, Japanese geishas have used it as a beauty regimen by applying it to their faces before putting on makeup. Sake contains kojic acid, an antioxidant that brightens the skin by inhibiting melanin production. It can help correct discoloration, hyperpigmentation, sun damage, age spots, acne scars, and skin texture.

The high concentration of amino acids and saccharides helps to smoothen uneven skin texture, maintain elasticity, and replenish the skin with nutrients. In addition, sake contains alpha hydroxy acids (AHAs), which are well-known in the skincare world for their use in chemical peels and other exfoliating products. AHAs unclog blocked pores, minimize fine lines, and reduce the appearance of enlarged pores. Although they help shed dead skin cells, AHAs are suitable for normal and dry skin types due to their moisturizing properties and their ability to stimulate collagen production.

Sake is also naturally rich in vitamins, minerals, and amino acids, which makes it suitable for smoothing, softening, and protecting the skin. Japan's toji, or head brewers, have been renowned for their soft hands, and this is due to the high levels of naturally created amino acids in sake, which are aimed at moisturizing and protecting the skin without causing any irritation.


Grapefruit Extract
Grapefruit is a natural ingredient that has been used for toning and improving the texture of oily and acne-prone skin. It contains Lycopene, which reduces inflammation and redness of the skin.

Grapefruit extract helps to even out the skin tone for a smoother complexion, making it a key ingredient for radiant and glowing skin. Grapefruit is also rich in Beta-carotene, an antioxidant that transforms dull and dehydrated skin into radiant skin.

Packed with Vitamins, particularly Vitamin A, Grapefruit has remarkable anti-aging properties. Vitamin A enhances collagen production, reduces wrinkles, and fine lines, and softens the skin. Grapefruit extract also has antibacterial and antiseptic properties that work to cleanse the skin and clear clogged pores, promoting a smoother and brighter skin radiance. It's a natural source of Salicylic acid, which deeply cleanses pores, heals breakouts, and improves skin texture and appearance.

Coenzyme Q10

However, just like collagen, CoQ10 levels in the body decrease as we age, making our skin more prone to visible signs of aging.

Incorporating CoQ10 into your skincare routine can help counteract these effects. CoQ10 is known to energize cells and eliminate free radicals, making it a powerful rejuvenating agent for the skin. Studies have shown that applying topical CoQ10 or taking it in supplement form can improve skin texture, smoothness, and reduce the appearance of wrinkles. Yuzu Extract
Yuzu is a fruit that contains several beneficial elements for skin health due to its high vitamin content. It is rich in vitamin C, which is known for its antioxidant effects and for promoting collagen formation. Collagen is essential for maintaining skin firmness and suppleness.

Yuzu also contains flavonoids and phenolic chemicals that act as antioxidants, protecting the skin from oxidative stress caused by free radicals. This can potentially slow down the aging process. Yuzu fruit's high water content and probable humectant effects make it a mild hydrating agent.

Additionally, it contains several plant-based chemicals, or phytonutrients, that may provide extra skin health benefits. Some of these phytonutrients may have anti-inflammatory properties that can help soothe the skin.

HOW TO USE

Ideally used after cleansing and applying toner/softener during the day. Dispense 6-10 drops of the oil onto your palm. Rub your palms together to warm it up, then gently dab on face or massage it into your face and neck in an upward motion until absorbed.

For evening, end with our RESTORATIVE FACE OIL for overnight regeneration.

    I am fortunate to be an early user of the Amanari line of products. I have been using the serum, face cream including both the Restorative and Brightening Face Oils.
    Firstly, I am in my mid-50's and try to keep my skincare routine simple with a focus on clean products.     I have used Amanaris Brightening Face Oil and Restorative Face Oil for 3 consecutive months. The Brightening Face Oil has become my favorite face oil of all time.  This oil is light enough to use in the summer days. It is not sticky and gives a dewy finish. I also love its citrusy, zesty scent. I really look forward to this last step in my morning skincare routine.
    And the sake component in this oil! I absolutely notice a brightening effect after a few weeks of use. Watch out SKII! As someone dealing with melasma, I appreciate and love that bakuchiol is a key ingredient in the Restorative Face Oil  The scent is calming and slightly woodsy. A sumptuous texture.
    I also received some samples of their other products. The entire line has such uplifting scents concocted in the most elegant fashion. Clearly, the creator behind this line has a talented nose. I look forward to trying more products from this line in the future.
