Our Restorative Retinol-Alternative non-greasy oil is a daily solution that visibly restores and enhances the tone and texture. This bakuchiol-based oil helps smoothen the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles, without causing any irritation that other retinol-based treatments might cause. It naturally aids in stimulating collagen and help to maintain the integrity of the skin lipids. The antioxidants present in the solution work to help fade dark spots and discoloration, and delay visible signs of aging.

KEY INGREDIENTS & BENEFITS

Bakuchiol
Bakuchiol (pronounced buh-koo-chee-owl) is an extract derived from the leaves and seeds of the babchi plant. It’s an herb commonly used in Ayurvedic and Chinese medicines to help heal, calm, and soothe the skin, thanks to its anti-inflammatory and antibacterial properties. In addition to its anti-aging and anti-inflammatory properties, bakuchiol also enhances anti-acne properties.

Bakuchiol deeply penetrates the skin to help lessen the appearance of dark spots or areas of hyperpigmentation and like retinol, bakuchiol tells your cells to regenerate and make collagen, "plumping" your skin and reducing the look of lines and wrinkles. It sends signals to your cells that it's time to amp up collagen production and cell turnover.

By promoting cell turnover and healthy cell regeneration, bakuchiol may help soothe and heal your skin from the inside out.

While retinol and other skincare ingredients may dry out skin or cause irritation, bakuchiol is more gentle and isn't known to cause any irritation.

Coenzyme Q10
As we age, our skin loses its elasticity, leading to the appearance of wrinkles, fine lines, and a dull complexion. CoQ10, also known as Coenzyme Q10, is an antioxidant that plays a crucial role in maintaining skin elastin levels. However, just like collagen, CoQ10 levels in the body decrease as we age, making our skin more prone to visible signs of aging.

Incorporating CoQ10 into your skincare routine can help counteract these effects. CoQ10 is known to energize cells and eliminate free radicals, making it a powerful rejuvenating agent for the skin. Studies have shown that applying topical CoQ10 or taking it in supplement form can improve skin texture, smoothness, and reduce the appearance of wrinkles. It can also provide a quick response to any skin irritation, dry patches or redness.

Furthermore, CoQ10 can protect the skin from environmental damage, making it an excellent addition to any skincare regimen.


Squalane
Squalane oil is a type of emollient that functions similarly to our skin's natural oil, preventing moisture loss. What sets squalane apart is that it's a modified form of squalene, which is a vital component of our sebum. As a result, the skin is quick to recognize and utilize this ingredient.

Our plant-based squalane is not only a moisturizer but also an oil-soluble antioxidant. It works with other antioxidants in the skin to neutralize harmful oxygen molecules that are generated when skin is exposed to UV light.

Squalane's antioxidant properties also protect the skin's oil from lipid peroxidation, which damages the skin's surface and the lining of pores where oil is produced. This peroxidation is also thought to contribute to acne, as it alters the composition of the skin's oil, making it inflammatory.

The sebum-like properties of squalane help to hydrate the skin, and its lightweight texture prevents it from feeling greasy. It is also recognized by other lipids in our skin, such as ceramides and cholesterol, where it works to visibly enhance the vital barrier of the skin. This process can help reduce skin reactivity and improve its youthful appearance.

HOW TO USE

Ideally used after cleansing and applying toner/softener during the night. Dispense 6-10 drops of the oil onto your palm. Rub your palms together to warm it up, then gently dab on face or massage it into your face and neck in an upward motion until absorbed.

    I am fortunate to be an early user of the Amanari line of products. I have been using the serum, face cream including both the Restorative and Brightening Face Oils.
    Firstly, I am in my mid-50's and try to keep my skincare routine simple with a focus on clean products.     I have used Amanaris Brightening Face Oil and Restorative Face Oil for 3 consecutive months. The Brightening Face Oil has become my favorite face oil of all time.  This oil is light enough to use in the summer days. It is not sticky and gives a dewy finish. I also love its citrusy, zesty scent. I really look forward to this last step in my morning skincare routine.
    And the sake component in this oil! I absolutely notice a brightening effect after a few weeks of use. Watch out SKII! As someone dealing with melasma, I appreciate and love that bakuchiol is a key ingredient in the Restorative Face Oil  The scent is calming and slightly woodsy. A sumptuous texture.
